The Podland Trailcasters: a Portland Trailblazers Podcast

This was ALMOST the longest Trailcasters episode yet!!!

But, after Ty and Keith recorded for an hour, separate from the hour conversation between Keith and Mychal Lowman ( @My_Lo )of SLC Dunk... A TRADE HAPPENED.

Unfortunately, since the guys both have day jobs and covering the trade would've ended up being nearly a 3 hour episode, the trade talks and midseason review will wait til the next one!

Please enjoy the following interview with Keith and Mychal Lowman, and come back next week for the usual Trailcasters coverage!

In an effort to find silver linings in the clouds over Rip City, Keith lucked out as Blazers reporter Jamie Hudson made time (right before the Bucks game) to chat with him about the team's youth, injuries, the future of the front court and OF COURSE... Mario Kart?

Then Keith and Ty meet up on Sunday to cover game reviews, betting lines, and YOUR LISTENER QUESTIONS!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!!

After an extended break for the holidays, we're back to talk some Blazer basketball! Sean Highkin of Bleacher Report joins the guys to talk about allstar voting and some performance issues the team has been facing, but not before Keith gets in some gushing about Sean's podcasting influence! Then they get knee deep into some trade possibilities, a fantasy league recap and much more!

Did you feel like we were too optimistic last week? Well FEAR NOT, Danny Marang stops by the show to hit us with a healthy dose of what he calls "realism", as well as...

- Dreaming of alternative history where Roy/Aldridge/Oden won the Blazers a championship... but does that mean no Dame Lillard?

- How to justify betting against your team

- Bazemore's defensive hustle is actually hurting him

- Who should be taking Portland's shots in a post-Stottsfense era

- Hood's surgery and timeline

- Should CJ be tradeable?

- the imminent return of The Bosnian Beast!!!

Then we go DEEEEEP into some trade ideas, covering targets all over the league from Love and Aldridge to Aaron Gordon and young Sabas.

No listener questions this week cuz we just had too much to cover! We'll get back to it next week so SEND EM IN NOW!
