Like trained seals, whenever there's a mass shooting, the majority of white media outlets frame the motive of the shooter as being mental illness or that the shooting was caused because America has a "gun problem." Rinse and repeat.
And, mass shootings have become so frequent that many schools and public places have to actually practice active shooter drills. A school of children will get shot up, people will be sad about it for all of 2 seconds, everyone sends their "thoughts and prayers," and then people move on as if nothing happened.
And, if it does have something to do with "mental Illness" or a "lack of background checks," why are the majority of mass shooters overwhelmingly white men?
