Abusive authoritarian pastors get lots of media coverage.  They should. However, it is the Church’s frequent failure to disciple her members, exalting the needs, wants, and feelings of her members above the will of the exalted Lord Jesus that constitutes the real crisis of the hour.  Christian consumers in the pews, not Jesus, possess ALL authority and call the shots.
