In this podcast episode, I'll be talking with Nora Yusef, a photographer who grew up in Malaysia, traveled to over 80 countries, and photographed the most remote areas. We'll be discussing her travel adventures from exploring Svalbard to spending time with Eagle Huntresses in Mongolia and the impact all of her world travel has had on her perception of the world. 

In our 9th podcast episode, I'll be talking with April, a current college senior who is studying Vietnamese and currently an international studies major. We'll be talking about what motivated her to learn Vietnamese, as it is an uncommon language to learn and more about her language journey and future career interests.

In our episode today, I’ll be talking with Fernanda, a language learner from Brazil who is currently studying Korean. I’m pretty sure you’ve all heard of many language learners who have learned languages solely through self-studying, but there is also an equal value and importance to learning alongside others. We’ll be talking through her language journey and how she’s realized the importance of learning languages with others and sharing her progress through her study gram after a long period of being stuck on her own.

In the episode, we'll be talking about Kelly's experiences studying abroad in Korea, what she learned, and her journey in starting a podcast! 

Kelly is a current college freshman at USC and she participated in the Korean NSLI-Y summer program. Along with her friends, she started a podcast called "VoiceToCulture" which seeks to provide a voice for underrepresented groups and topics and advocate for greater change.

In this episode, I'll be talking with Mila, a Brazilian student who is learning Japanese, Spanish, and Brazilian Sign Language. We'll be discussing different learning methods for learning languages and how to find ways that best work for you. Additionally, we´ll be sharing advice on how to practice your language in your daily life outside of your daily study time, like sitting in a car or walking to work.  

In this episode, I'll be talking with Julianne, or @leaflinglearns, about staying motivated when learning a language and how to overcome challenges during the process, including how to deal with burnout. 

In our 2nd episode, we're featuring Silvy, a student from India who is self-studying Korean. We'll be talking about how to learn and approach a new language as a beginner and how to overcome common obstacles in the language learning journey. She'll also be sharing some tips and resources specifically for learning Korean. We hope you'll enjoy!
