  • The RAW Reunion FAILED (But SmackDown Live Succeeded) | The Young and The Wrestlers Ep 36

To celebrate WWE Raw becoming the Longest Running Weekly Episodic Television Show of All Time over 30 Legends were wheeled out to Tampa, Florida.

With the nostalgia goggles on the WWE spent more time showcasing talent of old rather than put over the current Superstars.

    DX helped get DX over.
    Old people became 24/7 champions.
Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan got a spotlight.
The ONLY Legend willing to help the future was Mick Foley as he took a Mandable Claw from The Fiend.

    Raw Reunion was a FAILURE!

    SmackDown however was brilliant!

SD this week demonstrated the power of long form storytelling with Randy Orton, Kofi Kingsto, Mustafa Ali, Elimination Chamber 2019, and how literally everything changed for them all.

WWE Monday Night RAW originally aired on 22/7/2019 and SmackDown Live on 23/7/2019.

  • It’s Oh So Quiet | For The Players – The PopCulturists’ PlayStation Podcast EP113

The gaming industry seems to be so quiet lately, at least on the PlayStation front.

Each week Ryan and Josh feel they have to scrap the bottom of the news barrel each week to get the show together. Let alone find something substational enough for a main topic.
    But why is that?

Ryan and Josh speculate and discuss the difficulties of creating a PlayStation show in Sony quiet world.
