Communion can become so familiar that we forget the depth of what is happening at the Table.

In “At the Table,” we explore four directions Communion invites us to look:

Backward—to remember what Jesus has done.

Forward—to trust what Jesus has promised.

Upward—to receive the grace God offers.

Outward—to see and love the people around us as one body in Christ.

The bread and the cup remind us that Jesus gave Himself for us, that He is present with us, and that one day He will make all things new. Communion is more than a ritual—it is an invitation to remember, hope, receive, and respond.

What does following Jesus look like in the life you already have?

As we conclude our Making It Fit series, we turn to Colossians 3 and discover that Jesus isn’t asking for one small place in our schedules—He desires to fill our entire lives. Our homes, relationships, work, responsibilities, conversations, and even the most ordinary moments can become places where we faithfully follow Him.

You don’t have to wait for life to settle down or for a different season to begin. Jesus meets you in the life you’re living right now.

Wherever this week takes you, ask one simple question:

Jesus, how do I follow You here?
