Coach Dennis Kakrah.  DK as we call him. Wentzville's North Point girls wrestling head coach. The man that changed everything for my daughter.  Without DK recruiting her to wrestle, I doubt she ever would have. Now, that's all she does is wrestle! That's a good thing. And I'm forever grateful for him changing her life and helping her find something that she's so passionate about.  

If you've ever played sports, then you know the impact coach's can have on kids.  To me, a good coach not only helps them in their sport but also helps mold them into good, productive young adults.  DK is THAT coach.  So let's learn a little more about Coach DK and how he went from Ghana to Wentzville. It's an interesting story for sure.  I hope you enjoy it!

The woman. The myth. The LEGEND! Catherine Pfeiffer! Catherine was one of the first agents I did a deal with when I got into real estate. The experience that I had with Catherine showed me how a professional Realtor was supposed to be.  Had I not had such a favorable experience with her early in my career,  I may not be a Realtor today. I'm forever grateful. You never know what impact you may have on others, positive or negative. So be nice dammit! It was super fun getting to know her better and learning what makes her tick. I can't be the only one that hears the country twang sometimes, right? So if you don't use me as a Realtor, use Catherine! She's an amazing person with some pretty awesome kids and her real estate team is top notch! I'm proud to call this country chick from Spanish lake my friend. This was a little different podcast then we're used to doing.  Sometimes change is good and this time it definitely is. My friend, Jimmy Cooper, lead pastor at The Way Church in Wentzville, MO stopped by for a visit.  We talked a bit about how he was called to be a pastor, how churches are set up, some goals of the church etc.  It was interesting peeking behind the curtain a little bit. We even talk a little sports. So if you think all pastors are dry and boring, then you don't know Jimmy! Give this one a listen! We'll have him on again soon. So this podcast was different from our norm and is a sample of things to come. I've recently met Tom and Shane at the gym and we quickly hit it off.  We chat about how going to the gym correlates to life, business and family etc.  We even throw a little God talk in there too. Broadcasting your struggles and goals to the world is an uncomfortable thing for most of us, but we threw some stuff out there. This was one of my favorite conversations that I've had in a while and really got my wheels turning on some things to do for the future.  Oddly, we never really even touched on bourbon! Penepole Bourbon! One of our new favorites. Yes, it's sourced from MGP, as is half of all the good stuff that we like to drink. We've beem stocking up on it for the past year or so to do some tasting. We had their straight bourbon, barrel proof, 3 toasted barrels, and a private select barrel to try. Getting the band back together! My old buddy Tom Lubiewski stopped by the old PourHouse today so we decided to do a quick update on interest rates (because everyone keeps asking us about them).  We bs about a new mortgage company that Tom brought to Lake St.Louis along with details of Toms exciting life as a dad of 2 sets of twins! Yes 2! As in 4 kids! We didn't solve all of lifes questions in this episode but i did enjoy catching up with my old buddy.
