When we actively fund and promote a cause, we often have fully formed ideas on what the outcome should be and ideas on how to achieve that aim.
But when we become part of a greater group, those ideas might be outvoted and discarded by the rest of the group. This doesn't have to be a negative as Dr Jason Franklin, the WK Kellogg Community Philanthropy Chair at the Johnson Center in Michigan reveals. Dr Franklin shared his insights into the challenges and the very real achievements that he's seen emerge from collaborative philanthropy.
