Fall Together is a song about finding the solace of love in a world that’s falling apart, so in this episode, I teamed up with environmentalist and documentary film maker Jack Harries, to tie in together a lot of what we talk about on this podcast. This episode is about the environment, but it’s also about how class, geography, race and gender might intersect with how environmental issues play out. Jack was so inspiring and insightful to listen to, I think we all need more Jack’s in the world! Happy listening, big love x

In todays episode, propelled by the sounds of Demons, myself and the incredible DJ and podcaster Kittens, talk all things mental health. All the topics I care so passionately about and speak about on this podcast our deeply intertwined with mental health, and everything we hope to achieve in life can come to a fast halt when we don’t care for our mental health, so this chat felt important. We talk about identity, sexuality, society’s expectations, how to be there for a friend or family member going through a struggle, how to have hard conversations with people we love about who we are, and as always compassion. Hope you like this one as much as I did, big big love x

In this weeks episode, guided by, ‘Reclaim Yourself’, the first interlude on my album. I am joined by Kelechi to discuss what it means to reclaim yourself, and to really step into your power. We talk about trauma, the transactional nature of being a person in this society, womanhood, race, the power of language and how we can create change in the world. We kind of touch on everything! And in that light the interconnectedness of all the issues we face as people. Kelechi has such a wealth of knowledge and is so sincere about all the issues she speaks on that it’s hard not to engage, I left this conversation feeling so inspired by her mind and how she sees the world. Let me know what you think!

In this weeks episode featuring my absolute fave Harriet Rose, propelled from the song Mothers Sisters Girlfriends, we talk all things womanhood, queerness, relationships, career and family, especially connecting on being women in the creative industry trying to carve out space, while still always being ourselves. This one's a really wholesome and frank chat on topics that mean a lot to me, so I hope that some of what we say rings true for you too. Big love!

In this episode, HOLIDAY FROM REALITY is our concept point for talking all things music, industry and artistry. This is a song I wrote about burnout, and my insatiable passion to carve out the future I've always dreamed of, and the cost that this drive can come at. I'm joined by the amazing Maverick Sabre, an artist who's journey I have always admired, and we delve into his career, our experiences of the music industry, what music and song writing means to us and it's just a really lovely chat. I hope you like it as much as I did x

In this episode we are propelled by the sounds of 'PLAYGOD', the second track of my debut album, into conversations on everything from the gendered culture of cooking, toxic masculinity, Nadir's childhood and the lessons he learnt from his parents, to modern day manhood, and what communication and compassion really look like. I loved having this conversation, one that is so frequently focused on women and femme identifying people, with a man, as this is essentially where the problem lies (with them lol), especially those like Nadir who are so interested in changing the narrative. Let's keep talking, keep questioning and keep opening up until we get to the root of it. Hope you like it!

In this episode we are propelled by the sounds of protest and the voice of Angela Davis from the first track of my album, into conversations about everything from 'What White People Can Do Next', Emma's new best selling book, to modern day allyship, the history of blackness, performative activism and Emma's own experience of growing up in Ireland. This felt like a great way to launch the series and I can't wait for you to listen to it.

The Power In Us: The Podcast is based all around the topics and themes of my debut album, ‘The Power In Us’. Over the next few weeks and months I will be talking to a host of incredible people about their views and their experiences in the realms of feminism, mental health, politics, social change, empowerment and so much more. We will use each song of the album as a catalyst to dig into these themes more deeply than I could with the lyrics of each song. I really believe our power is in our voices, our ability to share experiences and learn from each other when we do so, and that’s why I started this podcast. I’m really interested in how our individual power creates collective power, and ultimately social change for the better, I think that if we can recognise what unique traits we all have that make us individually incredible, we stand a much better chance in seeing that greatness in others and working together.

There is an ever-growing epidemic of people, young and old, struggling with their mental health right now. In this episode I speak to health professional Comfort Egbuta on breaking cycles of disbelief by normalising open conversation & in the age of social media, the importance of connecting in real life.
