Have you ever felt as if God wasn't present in some of your most difficult seasons? Like many of you, I have had to wrestle my faith into shape to endure and survive some heated and intense battles. This episode will help you gather spiritual nuggets for understanding why it is important to fight, trust, and expect God to lead you through the battle. You will take away from this episode, my personal testimony and practical teaching on how to not only survive difficult times but learn how to fight through them and to overcome them while working in partnership with the Holy Spirit, as he sets you up to exercise your faith.

Trusting God when he seems absent is a part of maturing faith. It is how we stretch our faith into the peace of God for resting in seasons when it feels as though God is silent. This type of faith is grown out of trial and intentional focus on spiritual maturity while refusing to lose your confidence in God. Faith is at its best demonstration in seasons of battle, when we are flowing in our spiritual intent to win and believe we shall because of who we have placed our diligent confidence in as we refine our skills and deepen our knowledge for battle.

Are you halting between the voices of your past and God's call to your future? After facing trial after trial, we can become frayed and pause between believing God and reflecting on the fears of past pains and losses and now stagger in confidence. I have been there and done that. The adversary has tried to rob me of my spiritual heart and posture after vicious storms to believe God for a new beginning, a new strength, and a fresh anointing. I will never forget the times when I have stood at the bridge between fear and faith and the tension between fear and forcing faith was real and it demanded me to choose which I would be, a coward or courageous. In this dilemma, we find ourselves warring within to believe God's word but at the same time halting at all of the possibilities of failure. I wrestled in warfare with this for years depending on what the stakes were until God taught me to push into my faith in God and to ignore the emotion of fear or I would end up a spiritual coward, talking big but living small. What about you, have you learned how to overcome the threats and intimidations that plague and challenge your total confidence in God. In some cases, people coward down to what is perceived to be safety. In today's episode, I share the need to force your faith into courage for overcoming the fear that seeks to capture your confidence in the relationship you have with God. You will take away from this episode, practical teaching on how to be courageous and not a coward, as well as how living in intimacy with Christ is safety no matter what the situation looks or feels like.

The Power of Intimacy with Christ | "A Time of Survival" Do you want to walk in the true love of God and experience transformation in these difficult times? It is a time of identity crisis and we are provoked to evaluate what lives within our hearts and spirits and what we are willing to give up to truly love others. Theses provocative times are forcing us to investigate who we really are. We are challenged to change or not. In this episode, I challenge us to be bigger than ideas and concepts that have influenced us in the past and to challenge ourselves to grow into the love of God. It is an empowerment message for learning to survive the drama of self-preservation and to do the inner work of deepening your love for God and the human family. As an African American female with sons and daughters, I have been shaken to the core and have determined to live and love like God in spite of the negative message that try to pull us into self-preservation and drag us away from the love of God. I share the need to live in and demonstrate a love that is like God's. God's people are called to grow, to become like God in how we love and live in our world. Doing the hard work of change is demanding. To survive the crisis is to decide to resist the voices that war against the teachings of biblical teaching and thereby cheapen the love of God. You will take away from this episode, practical teaching on the love of God available to survive these trying times and to become like God.

The Power of Intimacy with Christ | "Are you still thirsty?" Do you desire more of God? In this episode, I share how Jesus set up the Samaritan woman for a blessing and how that at the well was the place that she found a life-changing water. God will set you up to fill you up with His Spirit. I discovered that God creates the situation to fill you up for the purpose of sending you out to tell everybody what he did, so too are made thirsty and come running to him. He is the satisfying portion of the soul. When we yield to God's call to be spirit-filled we find life satisfaction in soul, spirit, and heart. God will birth a well of water springing up inside of us and that water will be more than enough to cope with whatever life brings. We can quench our thirst and find peace in God when we live in intimacy with him and allow the water of God to fill our very being.  You will take away from this episode, that God wants to water your soul with his Spirit and there are great dividends to letting him on the inside to take his residence and release his love, grace and power.  

The Power of Intimacy with Christ | "Born of the Spirit of God" Do you desire to truly be born of the Spirit of God? In this episode, I share how to meet God at the intersection of life and what it means to be born of the Spirit of God. The most important moment in life is when God solicits relationship and offers us the opportunity to be born of his Spirit. When I gave myself to God at this threshold of relationship, I discovered that being born of God's Spirit was the ultimate and that this awesome privilege would empower the rest of my life and out of it I came to know myself in a deeper way as God knows me. This situatedness led to my experience and life journey of God revealing himself in me. Being born of the Spirit is a shedding of the flesh while embracing doing exploits with God. Learning to grow in this new birth state leads to a deepened relationship with the Holy Spirit, as well as produces spiritual fruit toward spiritual maturity. You will take away from this episode, information on why it is important to be born of the Spirit of God. 

The Power of Intimacy with Christ | "It's a Heart Thang" If you desire a closer relationship with God, you will be blessed by this podcast. This episode is filled with practical teaching on how to live in authentic intimacy from the heart. I share some of my experiences with God in the supernatural and how walking in rhythm with God from the heart is essential for taping into God'sglory. The Holy Spirit has taught me and is teaching me how to live out of my heart. God meets us in our sincere passion for him. Giving ourselves to God situates us nigh the heart of God and puts us on path with God's will for our lives. Learning to give your heart to God and to live dependent on him is intentional. Giving God your heart will cause you to discover the will of God for your life and if you learn to fully surrender, God will lead you into the precision of God for your part in God's plan. You will take away from this episode, practical teaching on the power associated with living and loving God from an authentic heart.
