The Power of Laughter

When was the last time you laughed, I mean really laughed?  How do you feel being around people who help you laugh?  

 It's been said that laughter is the best medicine, and I believe that is true, especially in times of stress.  Laughter has the power to:

  • Ease the tension and stress in any situation
  • Show us another perspective
  • Allows us to view ourselves in a more positive light
  • Keep us from taking things so seriously
  • Strengthen us physically and mentally
  • Heal

I am sure we can all think of a time when laughter brought relief during a stressful situation, and as we explore each of these areas, I will share stories, and examples that illustrate this further.   I will also share tips on how you can develop  more laughter in your life, because, as Marjorie Pay Hinckley once said, "The only way to get through life is to laugh your way through it."
