Jesus tells the disciples that people will know that they are His followers by their love. Real love is fully grace and fully truth, and it points people to Jesus Christ. Isaac Stephanus was radically changed by people who loved him well in the midst of his darkest moments. Isaac's upbringing was tumultuous and painful, but God's love was greater and now Isaac has the opportunity to display that love to his little girl and to other children they get to welcome into their home through fostering. Love really does fulfill the law!
