Publisher's Summary:
Scrum is a simple framework that allows us to complete projects, continuously improve and get an early return on investment.
Whether you are a scrum master, product owner, team member, business stakeholder or simply someone who wants to understand what makes scrum tick, this book is for you.
Every chapter includes:
I write this text as a certified scrum master with experience in international blue chip companies dating back to 1999. That experience includes leading projects for the BBC, General Electric, Oracle, BSkyB, HiT Entertainment (responsible for Angelina Ballerina, Bob the builder and other titles that you love watching with your kids or siblings but wont admit to) and Razorfish. These roles have all involved leadership on a wealth of mobile, internet TV and web software projects. I have played the role of scrum master and in the earlier years, of team lead and technical lead. I have had the privilege of running projects and rolling out working practices in market leading organisations from start to finish.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I listened to this right after having heard Jeff Sutherland's book (one of the creators of Scrum). Jeff's book is amazing with amazing examples and explanations. This book, on the other hand, has some guidance but I found it uninspiring and unconvincing. Jeff's book is a tough act to follow but I was expecting either more information or more convincing or even just more examples on how to apply scrum to non-software efforts. I did not find any of that.
Packed with usefull info
Without the fluff of many books on the topic. Just what you need to get from to going with Scrum
loved it deserves a repeat.
I truly enjoyed this book I will recommend it to all my friends. it was very informative
That was the hardest listen I've ever heard.
While the subject might have been good, listening to the monotone narrator made this so annoying. The only break from his over-enunciation, were the unnecessary chuckles when he felt the story was telling a joke.
Practical advice but terrible narrator!
The advice given by the author is really good but the narration has an awful pace...sounding like a Texan robot.
