This Episode

Paola Acero is a Colombian living in Berlin.

When she found herself in a crisis of sinusitis from April to August 2020, which affected her productivity, self-image as an achiever and emotional health deeply, she became aware that this was a reaction from her body to alert her of her unhealthy lifestyle and mindset, which manifested itself as a physical difficulty to breathe and get enough oxygen to her brain. This led to her transforming her routines and change her mindset towards a more fulfilling, balanced and enjoyable life. Not only did she recover significantly but it also opened the door to be more flexible and let everything her life (routines, relationships, goals, structures) to breathe. Sinusitis was a tremendous gift that changed her philosophy of life.

Paola helps people and organisations communicate ideas in powerful, constructive ways, that foster inclusion, cooperation and change in multicultural environments towards more equal and just societies that coexist in balance with nature.

This Episode

In March 2020 Mandy was made redundant. She loved her job, and it had sometimes felt as though it was all she had after her husband had died four months after they'd relocated from the Midlands to Lancashire. Mandy felt that redundancy was like being set adrift alone in a pandemic. Then she embarked on the Transformational Coaching diploma with Animas Coaching and also discovered ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/Training) and it gave her a new sense of purpose and she now hopes to be able to help others experiencing similar situations.
