INSTRUCTOR: Charli Caraway and her husband Rodney were raised in middle-class Christian homes in Texas. Despite having many childhood blessings, they were taught to operate in a poverty mindset and struggled to thrive as adults. Neither was ever taught the principles of money management. 

Despite Charli’s careers in writing, education and leadership (including being a professor), and Rodney’s career in oil and gas, they struggled every month to pay their bills. If there is a money management mistake to be made, they have made it! However, through Biblical study, prayer, and diligent work they have overcome their poverty mindsets. Now, Charli travels teaching the body of Christ what the education system and so many parents have failed to teach for generations. 

Charli received her B.A. in Speech Communication and Technical Documentation from Sam Houston State University. She has a M.A. in Secondary Education and a M.A. in School Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. She also attained her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University. She is an ordained minister through International Congress of Churches and Minsters and is certified as a Professional Life Coach. 

HOST: Dr. Maurice Lawson is a gifted teacher, preacher, and keynote speaker who specializes in leadership training and development. He has conducted seminars for business groups, universities, and church leadership teams across the nation. Dr. Lawson serves as the Senior Pastor of Living Faith Cathedral Church in Greenwood, Mississippi, and is the President of Maurice Lawson Ministries, Inc. He also serves as Chaplain of the Mississippi Valley State University Athletic Department. His organizations have helped to train hundreds of future leaders nationwide.

Dr. Lawson earned a B.A. in Psychology from New Mexico State University, a M.A. in Human Resource Management from Webster University, a M.A. in Leadership for Evangelism & Mobilization from Columbia International University, and a D.Min in Leadership in Ministry from Memphis Theological Seminary.

​I spent the majority of my life hearing my spirit call me to the right direction, and completely ignoring it, SURE I could find the path faster and easier myself. (sound familiar?!) Welp, the joke was on me. My "faster, easier" route took me on what I like to call my "corporate detour" for a solid 17 years of my life, doing work that had me hustling, grinding and miserable...but making almost 6-figures a year. #NotTheDream

​I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit, though. In between all that corporate ladder climbing, I tried my hand at starting my own businesses, doing the things I loved to do: photography, blogging, and various online businesses, including network marketing. The thing was, none of them stuck and honestly felt like something was still missing. And although I was REALLY good at what I was doing, once it became work I quickly hated doing it - even if it was a passion of mine!

As destiny would have it, in 2017 I made a desperate

Soul Contract with God:

"Show me the next door is to walk through,

and I'll take the next step.

And I'll keep taking them, no questions asked."

​Well in case you didn't know, God does not play! LOL  Doors immediately began opening, and I just kept saying "yes" and taking the next steps. Within a month of that, I stepped fully into my Divine Purpose and launched my own coaching business as The Spirit Guided Coach. To say it's been a wild, amazing, abundant ride is an understatement! Literally all of my dreams of pouring into women's lives to help them step into THEIR Purpose have come true.

London Papamichael was born in Myrtle Beach South Carolina, Half Greek Cypriot. He currently resides in Venice, California. Fitness and health has always been a priority in his life, from as far back as he can remember. His father created this interest so London always watched his father working out, taking supplements, and eating healthy. They were an extremely active family.

Continuing his fitness journey as teenager, he was involved with sports, staying active and spending a lot of time outside. During his freshman year he began taking weight training seriously and received mentorship by a senior in his weightlifting class. He learned about form, intensity and nutrition.

One of the many things he loves about fitness is that it continues to change. There are always new and innovative ways to approach fitness and health. He truly enjoys helping people through fitness because he has witnessed firsthand how beneficial it has been for him on his journey. 

Obtaining and maintaining health is essential whether you’re a kid boxer going for his 4th consecutive Golden Gloves title, a football player trying to make an NFL roster, a woman trying to step on stage for the first time for a fitness competition or just someone that wants to improve their overall health.

Rev. Dr. Stephen T. Cook is the district superintendent in the Mississippi Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church for the West Jackson District, which includes eight counties: Claiborne, Issaquena, Sharkey, Warren, Yazoo, and portions of Hinds, Madison, and Humphreys. 

As a district superintendent, Dr. Cook has implemented a district strategy that empowers both clergy and laity with leadership tools for effective and vital ministry. This strategy focuses on church revitalization, leadership development, and new church planting.  Dr. Cook previously served as the Pastor of Central United Methodist Church in Jackson, Mississippi. Prior to Central, he served nine years as pastor of Revels Memorial United Methodist Church in Greenville, Mississippi.

The Mississippi Annual Conference honored Dr. Cook by electing him to the 2020 General and Jurisdictional Conferences as a reserve delegate. He began serving as Dean of the Cabinet effective July 1, 2019. He has been an elder in the United Methodist Church for over 17 years. He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. 

Dr. Cook is a native of Carrollton, Mississippi and graduated from Mississippi State University, Starkville, with a Bachelor of Arts degree and Memphis Theological Seminary, Memphis, Tennessee, with a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree. 

He has shared 20 years of marriage with his beautiful wife, Erma.  They have the joy of being parents to two daughters:  Sylvia and Endia.  Their daughter, Sylvia, is married to Joshua Nichols.   They reside in Nashville, Tennessee.  

Dr. Cook’s  hobbies are reading, jogging, and playing basketball.

His favorite scripture reference is Proverbs 3: 5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
