Dr. Daniel Zimet has been in Private Practice as a Licensed Psychologist and Sport Psychologist (CMPC, Certified Mental Performance Coach) in Howard County, Maryland, for 20-years. His clinical work focuses on young adults, relationships, and sport. 

Dr. Zimet is the founder and President of MAC-SAPP, a consortium of Applied Sport Psychologists, and the principal investigator of the Athlete Transition Study, a research study investigating the retirement experience and long-term health outcomes of athletes. 

An athlete himself, Dr. Zimet has over 30 National Master titles in Handball, was ranked #3 on the 2018 SRWPH tour, and continues to play at the Open level.

Mike Lisi is closing his 7th year of entrepreneurship , having started his gym along with his brother in law John, RAF Strength & Fitness in January of 2015 at the age of 22.  

Through the years since opening the gym, Mike has created/ started other businesses such as, Curbside Mexican Grill (2 years old)- Casual Take out Delivery, New U Eats (2 Years old)- Meal Prep Service, Ignite (6 months old)- Private business Consulting and is currently working on an invention called QuickClips. 

Mike was a Division 1 athlete and captain, starting all 4 years at center for Stony Brook Football.  He credits a lot of his business success to the lessons learned while playing the game of football for 17 years. 

Mike is very creative, hardworking and passionate about his career. He is inspired by his beautiful fiancé, Nina Bianco. In his free time, Mike loves to enjoy quality time with his family & Nina, listen to podcasts, read books, watch football and enjoy fine dining.

Shea was born and raised in El Cerrito, CA which sits just 13 miles east of San Francisco and now resides in sunny San Diego. At 27 years old he is still as charismatic, energetic, and goofy as he was as a child except today he is truly in search of something he knows he wants; a career in music management and live events. 

Shea played baseball for 17 years all the way through Division III Willamette University in Salem, OR and hit a wall like many ex-collegiate athletes do once they graduate asking themselves questions like; Who am I without my sport? What do I want to do? How do I start? With some deep thought, self reflection, and the completion of an 8-week program with the owner of “Thrive After Sports” Taj Dashaun, he saw things a little more clearly.

 In this conversation between Taj and Shea you will be able to see how intentional thought, action, and a smile goes a long way in guiding one to their ultimate goal. We hope you enjoy hearing his story.
