The Power of the Presenting Pause

Key to this is controlling the timing of your presentation delivery and that is enabled by recognising and implementing the power of the presenting pause 

Speak slower, be conscious of your breathing and use the power of the presenting pause

Alan shares examples of how this can work for you and offers some tips and advice to help you fully understand the benefits of speaking as Alan says in first gear not fourth gear

Salespeople in particular are notorious at speaking really quickly, without drawing breath
