It’s the habits repeated daily that influence our health, wealth, and happiness. So it makes sense to get good at this.  As 40-50% of what we do day to day is unconscious (habitual), if some of those patterns of behaviour aren’t giving you the results you want then now is the time to apply the strategies that we explore in this podcast to change them.

There's absolutely no question, the happiest people that we meet are those that are generally doing 3 things:

1.     Something they love and they enjoy

2.     Something that makes use of their natural occurring strengths and talents

3.     Doing something that is in some way adding value to the world.

When you combine these three things together you can be described as living on purpose.

We are generally taught from an early age, to work hard, do well at school, get a great job and then happiness comes.  Much of the time we work with people who have ended up on a career path that they didn’t even design.  Their original career path was chosen for them by their parent, or career officer, or a teacher.  

This produces “ought to” energy rather than “want to energy”. The 'ought to' space will rob you of the opportunity to do something different. If left unchallenged it will lead to 'suddenly syndrome'.....a situation where you ignore the signs and find yourself in a reality that you have created, but never wanted!

Do you have that nagging feeling that you aren’t really following your true path or in a role that you know isn’t making best use of your talents, or worse still in a company that you hate going to every day? Welcome to the very first episode of the Power Up Podcast.  In this episode, we are excited to share the story behind our podcast along with some insights into who we are, and the work that has shaped our careers over the past 25 years.  We will also give you an insight into the Power Up program and the 7 Natural Powers that help our clients establish the clarity, confidence, and belief to lead a happier, more purposeful life.

Perhaps you, yourself have looked back at your life and wondered how you got where you are today? or maybe the work you once enjoyed has become mundane and uninspiring?  

For some people, years can slip away with the same questions being asked “Is this all there is?" or "Is this the work I was meant to do?”, “Am I truly playing to my strengths and passions?". (Note: If you are grappling with these questions, you already have the answers!).  Many remain stuck, living a life that falls short of what they genuinely deserve.  A lack of clarity, fears and diminishing self-confidence act as big fat roadblocks resulting in inertia and procrastination.
