After last week's shenanigans we all decided we would lower our tempers to vibe and pod this week lol. We re-stocked the fridge with beer and welcomed our good brother the WB to chop it up with us. We also introduce a new award called the MVPPP. The MVPPP is the person whose news is so noteworthy it covers hot topics, covid chronicles and FoFoFo segments. This week we get into a lil bit of white fragility. For those that don’t know white fragility is defined as: the tendency among members of the dominant white cultural group to have a defensive, wounded, angry, or dismissive response to evidence of racism. Dear White People show runner Jaclyn Moore, a transgender woman herself, plans to boycott Netflix. The Black Justice Coalition is calling for it to be removed. On Monday, October 4, 2021 FB and all its affiliate apps were down for most of the day. Coincidence? No. White fragility? Most likely!!! ESPN is back beefing with employees. This time Sage Steele made some unwelcoming comments about the company’s handling of mandating the vaccine. ESPN in turn asked Sage to quarantine her mind one time as she is now on a leave of absence. Tesla pays $137 million on the grounds of discrimination, Walmart says bye to layaway and a black school shooter is released on bond. Let’s get into it!

This week we recap the #ButlerPartyof2 Wedding. Family of the show, renowned children's book author and Carl Thomas cover singer Cousin @_JohnButler got married this weekend. Love was in the air, drinks were in abundance and the PPP Boys were all in the building for the festivities. It was a GRAND time and we recap the whole day including the ceremony, reception, the Matrimony Invitational Bowling Tournament, and after all those parties it was the after party! Speaking of hotel lobby after parties, R. Kelly was found guilty of all charges in his nasty ass court case. Amazon is moving to create company towns. We explain why this is not a good idea. Internet sensation Omni In A Hellcat has been officially sentenced for fraud and tax evasion amongst other things. Omni was the head of an illegal cable provider service. The School District of Philadelphia failed tremendously this week by not providing S. Weir Mitchell Elementary School with lunch for the week. On June 15, 2020 we published our first Episode of UpTownTone Presents: Covid Chronicles w/ OG Eaze. On June 17, 2021 we will publish our last. As the official word comes down from state to state that all Covid 19 mandates will soon be lifted and life get back to being active, not normal. Through it all we gave you the highs and lows. The bros and the WOMEN!(remember that episode? Lol) Nah but seriously, we appreciate all the support, comments, likes and shares.
