Continuing the “Misused Verses in the Bible” series, we read James 5:15, which says, “And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.” Pastor Jason focuses in on the importance of prayer, and how prayers are always answered, but perhaps not always in the way we might want. The Christian life is not immune to trouble. In the Christian life, it is not “if” but “when” you begin suffering you may be tempted to question the goodness of God. Prayer is the doorway to a personal relationship with Jesus.
