Redemption Bible Church follows the story of Jonah, in our current sermon series entitled “Swallowed by Grace,” led by Pastor Jason Mayhall. Jonah, having rejected God’s instructions, finds himself in dire straits until the Lord shows him grace. Jonah realizes he was saved in spite of what he chose to do, as God enabled Jonah to see his situation more clearly. Pastor Jason talks about how we all need an intervention, to be shown a better way, as sin separates us from the presence of God. God can graciously spare us, like He did Jonah, extending salvation to us even when we selfishly spurn him.
