You're still with me and I am excited! Today we are reading Job 12-15 and Psalm 138.

Today's reading is in Job chapters 8-11 and Psalm 137...it's at the end of Psalm 137 that I go a bit off the rails with an anecdotal story from my youth. Don't judge me. 

We're on our second day of reading the book of Job. We're going to get into a conversation Job has with one of his friends. I'll be honest. There's a lot I bel7ieve we can learn from Job. We can learn how to handle friends who think they are helping but are really sort of the worst. We can learn how to manage and steward our emotions and our struggles. And we definitely learn a lot about God's character.

JOB...a book that has been long discussed as to whether it is real or metaphoric. Regardless, we can learn so much from this epic example of trusting God, taking pain and anger to God, stewarding emotions, gains and losses. Today we're beginning with chapters 1-3 and Psalm 135.
