Presenting our last guest of the year…
Mixtape #20 with Cordiform 🖤
Cordiform are an emo pop punk band hailing from Melbourne, and after a huge debut show earlier in the year the band has gone from strength to strength and are coming off the release of their debut EP ‘Growth & Despair’ just last month!
This week Dave and Fil were joined by guitarists Liam and Brody to chat the journey the band has been on, what it means to be a ‘pop punk’ band in 2023, and more!
The boys brought us 5 amazing tracks that influenced the band, and we listen to and break them down together.
We can’t thank Liam and Brody enough for jumping on! This was such a fun chat and we can’t wait to catch the boys at a show in the near future!
Go and listen to ‘Growth & Despair’ wherever you get your music, follow Cordiform on socials and keep up with what they are up to HERE!
We are excited to announce the next guest in our mixtape series…
Presenting mixtape #18 with Agnes Manners ✨
This week Dave and Fil were joined by Matt from Agnes Manners on the back of the release of their brand new album ‘Peace and Why I Didn’t Think I Deserved It or Really Needed It Anyway’!
Matt brought us 5 amazing tracks that influenced the new record, and we break them down together.
We also talk about how this record came to be, being an independent artist in 2023, and more!
We can’t thank Matt for coming on and chatting with us. We absolute love the new record at TPCP, and we highly recommend giving it a listen if you haven’t yet!
You can also pickup physical copies of the album through Stiffcut Records, Artist First and Summit Distro.
Presenting episode #51…
Thy Wheel: A Mackas Method Radio Hour 📻
Dave and Fil spin the wheel this week and pick some songs from their record collection in this weeks episode.
Featuring songs from Weezer, Bring Me The Horizon, Thrice, and more!
We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who is here. These last 10 days has been our biggest week in terms of listens, and we can’t be more grateful!
And just like that, we have hit 50 episodes! 🥳
And what better way to celebrate than to have some of the Saving Face boys on!
We are joined by Ricky and Jye fresh off of Saving Face’s sold out EP Launch to chat all things Saving Face, what they have coming up and what we might be able to expect moving into next year!
We talk upcoming gigs, what music we’re loving and take a look back at Defeater’s third album ‘Letters Home’ on its 10 year anniversary.
Dave, Filip and Mae would love to thank everyone who has taken the time to listen to just 1 episode, or all 50! It’s been a wild 18 months and we’ve spoken to some amazing people and bands since starting, and we can’t wait for what’s next.
You can catch Saving Face supporting Caution: Thieves on the 23/11, and playing WWDOTW 5th Beyond Blue Fundraiser on the 23/12, and you can find that as well as their debut EP HERE.

st.sinner are not your normal type beat coming to you out of Canberra, and today we were fortunate to have their frontman Rory on for a chat.
On the back of a huge period of change for the band, st.sinner have come out with new single Headcase and are absolutely challenging what it means to be a conventional heavy band in the local scene.
They brought us 6 tracks that influenced Headcase and their new sound, and we break down each one in this episode.
This episode was crazy and one of the most fun we had this year - we can’t wait for you to listen!
Big thanks to Rory for coming on, and you can catch st.sinner next Friday in Brisbane supporting Alt and Deficit at AM/PM.
