The Prevention Podcast

StopItNow.org is a non-profit organization that believes that the best hope for preventing child abuse is by enacting and strengthening prevention efforts in our communities. Jenny and Micah discuss their helpline, education, training and advocacy related to primary prevention of sexual abuse. 

Our first podcast guest, "Bruce", is back on the show with his partner, "Gina." Bruce shares his story of dating and "coming out" to Gina. The couple explores what it is like to live with minor attractions and for the first time on our show, we hear what it is like to date and eventually marry someone with these non-exclusive attractions. Host of The Prevention Podcast Candice Christiansen asked a "conservative" pedophile, "Bertus", who resides in the Netherlands, if he would be willing to be interviewed for our podcast. Out of fear that his confidentiality would be violated by doing a voice interview, he responded to our interview questions in writing. Dr. Allyn Walker, researcher of pedophilia, agreed to read Bertus's answers in the following interview.
