Recorded in 3 hours, Amalie and Sherene were invited to Sunbury's first LGBTIQA+ event in February 2024, called Sounds Gay I'm In. This is a recording of attendees who anonymously offered to share their stories and thoughts on the day. Funded by Midsumma's Regional Activation Grant and Victoria Pride.

Martyn recalls growing up and coming out in a time when being gay was feared rather than celebrated. Recounting stories of his past, he reflects on his life so far and the changing attitudes that have inspired the advocate that he has become.

Kim shares how it felt to grow up in Victoria with an intersectional experience. As a Generation Xer she looks at her childhood and coming out, travel, music and how all of that got her to where she is today.
