In Matthew 11, while in prison, John the Baptist send his disciples to ask Jesus, "Are you the one who is to come or shall we look for another?" The one who had sacrificed so much and prepared the way for the unveiling of the Messiah, now sat in prison questioning whether or not he made the right decisions. John was offended at Jesus because of unmet expectations that caused Him to be blind to the activity of Jesus in his day. When things do not go the way we wanted or expected, what should our heart response be towards Jesus?
