This week we will continue you are study on the character of God and understanding if he is a prideful God who lacks humility and lords over his people, and abandons them when  tradegy hit. Understanding how this loving God could allow so much devastation in the earth and do nothing to change or stop it.

He is a God who brain washes those who follow him and those who do in some way are less intelligent than those who do not believe in any type of God. Join me as we explore this monster like God some think we serve.

The past two shows we have discussed godliness a character attribute of God, and we are encouraged to live that my the moral standard that God has created in his Word. When God sent his son to die on behalf of our sins we now have the power to live godly lives in Jesus Christ.

This week we will take a look a the Old Testament and tackle those concepts that many either do not understand or make God seem confused or contradictory in his dealings with us. The goal and purpose is to answer some of those questions of incest, multiple wives, murder, and much more. Is God a Moral Monster as some would think? Join me and see.

So does God know you? This is an important and vital question and the answer could have a drasrtic effect on your life if you are right or wrong. This week we will review Matthew chapter seven. As we approach this holiday season and many will get the "holiday spirit of giving", and you will see more people than ever doing good deeds. This caused me to think about the year. How often do we think or feel that we are good with God because of the good deeds we do.But do those good deeds guarantee us a place in heaven or a deeper relationship with God. The bible tells us only what we do for Christ will last.

As always, I want to encourage you to grow in depth in God. Make a choice to seek his face and die to your flesh. Desire to have the relationship with God the Adam did before the fall when he would come down to earth and walk with God in the cool of the day. We do not want to be like the religious people Jesus speaks of in Matthew 7:21-23 thinking they were known, but they were not; what a sad commentary on their relationship let us not befall the same because by that time it is too late.

This week we will continue our study on the subject of worship, because it is a spiritual discipline that has the power to change not only your life, but your situations. It is in worship that we experience true fellowship with the Godhead, and bask in His presence of transformation. It is in worship where we feel the comfortable and peace of God, and a place where intimacy begins. It is impossible to live a life in the presence of God and stay the same, because the very nature of who he is causes us to conform. Worship helps us see our situations from his perspective, which is much different than ours because the view is different from his vantage point. We tend to see only what is in front of us, but God sees what is ahead. Worship allows us to receive revelation from God, and it brings obedience because will always deal with the sin in our life in order to increase in intimacy with him.

Worship is vital obedience is necessary so let us enter in.

We are in the season where we are reminded to be thank for all God has done in our lives, and it also seems that it is at this time of the year that work becomes more laborious. Things are not going well, but thank God for worship. It is during our time of worship when lay our hearts before the Lord from him to change wherr we are reminded twhoo keep our eyes on Jesus for he keeps us in perfect peace.

Life is hard enough without allowing the pressures of this world or the thoughts of others, to deflect our attention away from the one who holds our future. This is not an easy task it take practice because misery loves company. Why because people do not like feeling alone as if they are the only one. So let us worship the God holds are future and keeps us in perfect peace

This week as we break bread in the Word of God we shall discuss the purpose behind why we worship the holiness of God. Because when we do we begin to see ourselves in light of who he is verses who were are. The bible says, not to compare ourselves to another person, but on the other he tells us to be immitators of Christ (who is God incarnate). As we worship the holiness of God we are strucked by his awesomenes, his power and so much more. It causes me to stand in awe of him.

There are so man manifestation of the Holiness of God in our society, yet we ignore most of it every day for example, we see it in His law because it condems sin. in the works of Jesus, and Christ death on the cross. God is simply holy;it is just who he is.

I have taught several aspects of worship over the past few weeks, but the one thing I feel I need to share or remind people is this Kingdom. Not everyone is living in the Kingdom nor are they kingdom citizens. Christ came to earth to bring God's kingdom, and living in the Kingdom is different than living in the world. In the kingdom we seek the heart of God what is important to him. We seek to do things his way not ours. Living in the kingdom there is love, joy, and peace, and we get those by taking part in the Christian disciplines that help us grow in those areas. Worshipping the king is one of those disciplines. As we seek to learn more about the kingdom we are better equipped to pray those areas and attribute back to God.

Welcome, as we continue our study on the topic of worship, i have shared quite often to speak or pray the word of God back to Him as you pray. God has promised us that he will watch over his word to perform his word. But why what does it matter the bible is just a book, it is antiquated and no longer applies to today. It seems that is a thought a prevailing one at that until people want something from God then they quote lots of scripture, and make up a few things that are not in the bible. T

This weeks lesson will focus on the validity of the bible and why we can trust what it says. The good, the bad and the ugly. It is important to know that the bible was not created to make our flesh feel good, but to bring correction and to become profitable in the things of God.

This week we are going continue are study in worship from where we left off last week. Last week we looked at the difference in heart between a person who attends church and has an emotional experience versus the person whose life is an example of worship. True worship does not leave you the same because you have experienced the presence of God in an intimate fashion. To provide an example of this through the Word of God we read Psalm 51 and 42, 1 John 1:9 in these scriptures we saw the posture of the heart of a true kingdom citizen.

The past few weeks we have studied the meaning and purpose of worship, but I have become trouble by the attitude or the response of some when questioned about their committment to the Kingdom. It seems we have become so preoccupied with being entertained, provided by the musicians, we have become lost in the rythmic beat of the music,and the thunderous sound of people shoutng their praised to God, But what happens when it is all said and done, and it is time to go back to the real world.

But ther is a problem, basketing in the presence of God transforms us from the inside out, our hearts change, how we think changes, how we live our lives changes we are no longer the same. The bible says we must worship in spirit and in truth it does not have anything to do with our emotions, but it has everything to do with our heart. This week we will focus on worshipping as a Kingdom Citizen versus a Country Club  Christian. Listen in to find out more.
