- As you study the Word of God, you discover that the subject of Healing was very near to the Heart of God—it was at the very forefront of His teaching and preaching
- For us today, He has laid out any number of methods by which a believer can receive healing in the Word—find one that works for you and receive—WHERE CAN YOU HOOK UP?
James 5:14, 15 Anointing Oil
14 Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up
Mark 16:17, 18 Laying on of hands
17 These signs shall follow them that believe…
18 They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover
1 Corinthians 12:9 Manifestation of the gifts of the spirit
9 Gifts of healing (corporate anointing)
- The Best way to be healed is to Receive the Word of God and then Act on it
- The good news is that God will meet you where you are
Isaiah 38:16 Hezekiah
16 (after a lump/plaster of figs) Fully recovered with a fresh infusion of life
Healing: A restoration of the body from a damaged or diseased condition. By definition it implies a process/a recovery
3 John 2
2 Beloved I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers
Health (healthy): It refers to the absence of disease and the ability to recover and bounce back from illnesses and other problems
- Sickness is the foul offspring of it’s father satan and it’s mother sin (He’s the author of sickness). John Alexander Dowie
- We are not the Sick trying to get healed, we are the Healed Resisting sickness (devil)
James 4:7
7 Submit yourselves to God, Resist the devil, and he will flee
Resist: To stand up against (YLT). A military term “to arrange in battle against.” anthistemi (Greek) for oppose, stand firm—to interrupt progress
- #1 way we Resist and interrupt him is with the Word
1 Peter 5:8, 9 He’s the devourer
Luke 13:16
16 Woman with infirmity 18yrs…whom satan hath bound (sickness is satanic bondage)
John 10:10
10 The thief “comes only” to steal, kill and destroy
- REFUSE ANYTHING FROM HIM (delivery)
- Something you ought to establish in your heart—right now—is that God is Good, All that He does is Good—Devil is Bad, etc.
1 John 3:8
8 For this purpose the Son of God was manifested (appeared, revealed) that He might destroy (undo) the works of the devil

22 God’s Word is Medicine (it goes right to the problem area)
Attend: That means you don’t look at anything else (not depart)

- At the first sign of symptoms, start taking your dosage (Word)—if you’re smart, you’ll get ahead of it
- Suggestion…Make it a point to Keep your faith strong by meditating along the lines of Faith and Healing Daily
- The time will come that you will need faith, either for yourself or some member of your family. And if you haven’t kept your faith strong, you’ll be at a disadvantage

- And He makes House Calls! (doctors use to come to you)
- The Word, like medicine, has a “pounding effect” on your spirit when ingested—A Cumulative Effect (increase in force/degree).
- If you’re dealing with symptoms in your body, Increase the dosage of the Word. It will increase and even extend your life
