In the episode, we will be covering Chapter 3 of the Syllabus, For This Thy Brother!  The topic of today's episode is Discerning the Lord's Body!  It is imperative that we, as members in particular, fitly framed together in the Body of Christ, have the spiritual sensitivity to discern when another part of our body is struggling or in pain or needing support or comfort of some kind!  If we properly discerned the Lord's Body there would not be nearly so many Prodigals!  They would be fully restored before they wind up excised from the body and then replaced by a spiritual prosthetic device... a program or a plan.  I fear at times that we not only fail to discern the Lord's body, but we also have lost the ability to feel for the body part that has been severed and replaced unless the body part is directly connected to us.  Lord Jesus, help us to feel the loss of and discern the needs or Your Body, The Church!

In this episode, season 1 episode 6, we will be covering the content of Chapter 2 from the syllabus, For This Thy Brother, as we discuss Who Is Watching The Back Door!  Someone needs to be as aware of those who leave our church as others are of who is just coming into the church!

This is the first episode that is not autobiographical!  Episode 5 of Season 1 covers a shocking reality... that there will some of God's Children In the Pit!  It also deals with the need for someone to step up and step into the gap and make up the hedge to prevent the episode title from becoming reality for you as a prodigal or for the prodigals many others love and desire to see return to a right relationship with God!

This episode will conclude the introduction to your host, Phil Jones, Me, The Prodigal Voice.  This episode picks up near the end of 1998 and takes you through to my conversion and the subsequent events that led me to where I am today.  In future episodes I will be disclosing more details of my experiences and using them to minister to the Prodigal, the Parents of Prodigals and the churches that need to be more involved in pursuing the Prodigal!

In this episode, I cover the years from 1989 through the early fall of 1998. I recount some of the details involved in my prosecution on drug charges and how the hand of God worked miracles that I was too spiritually unconscious to even recognize until I looked back on everything later.  While I didn't give Jesus a second thought, I was always on His mind!

In today's episode 2 of season 1, I intend to cover the next decade of my life from age 20 to age 30, 1979 to 1989.  Those were some very eventful years in my life.  I totally removed God from my consciousness and lived a totally selfish, ego driven life with a pinch of humanism and a splash of hedonism thrown in for good measure.  Enjoy the show!
