It has come to my attention that throwing rocks at college and having a job is going to ruffle some feathers. Entrepreneurship is a different path, and entrepreneurs think differently. I've spent a bunch of energy, "arguing", or explaining myself over the years and wish that those who are college and job oriented could UNDERSTAND how an entrepreneur thinks. It would save us ALL a lot of misunderstanding. If you are an entrepreneurial parent, you GET IT! If you are a parent of an entrepreneurial child, but are college + job oriented, the Prodigy Kid curriculum and these podcasts will be helpful to you in understanding and to be able help you to guide your child more effectively than causing more needless CONFLICT!
If having your kid go through the Prodigy System would be life altering/changing for them, and give them a tremendous edge, what 2 things could you do to make them "WANT" to become a "Prodigy Kid?"
1. The Ethical Bribe
2. Let them see "you doing it" with your life.
Let's put an end to teaching kids to go to college to get a job and start teaching them to create GENERATIONAL WEALTH!
Nate has got me thinking. He missed 2 weeks of school this year so far due to Covid and we went to Funnel Hacking Live for a week. He had an F in reading/writing, but I couldn't be more proud! Sounds crazy, but this episode I get into what his teacher said, and what he worked out with her because she was impressed with what he was doing, EVEN THOUGH HE HAD AN F!! I also get into the BIGGEST secret for the FASTEST success!!
I am the last person you would expect to be out there launching something like Prodigy Kid! There are many different reasons for doing this including for Nate, for money, to change the world, and as a scientist to figure out if the crazy serendipitous events in my life can be duplicated in others by following the same paradigm I've taught myself. My health has really been bad and is the whole reason I wrote The Prodigy Kid book in the first place. As I QUICKLY finished up the episode, my health was calling me away unfortunately and I didn't get to add the last little part! It was that the baseball mom who validated what I was creating for Nate, and made me think I could launch it to the world. I told her I was just going to give it away! She told me "NO!, you have to sell it and make money! Otherwise you won't be able to create a team and REALLY change the world!" I still want to give it away, LOL. At one point you will be about to go to theprodigykidbook.com and get a free copy of the physical book if you pay $9.95 S/H. If you choose to support us in other ways it is appreciated!!!
But where's your "Prodigy"? Just because I wrote the Prodigy Kid book, and created the Prodigy Kid Blueprint does not mean I don't have my issues as a parent. That does not mean I don't get frustrated or calls from school. I feel like that is all part of having a kid that is on that "different path". There is one BIG thing that I won't tolerate from Nate, and how I need to evaluate my own self because of it.
Entrepreneur Sean McLellan has freed his family of money constraints before 40, and is now raising his 4 kids with his awesome wife full time! Their kids have always been homeschooled and he has offered our listeners some cool resources that they've created for their kids and have helped others use with their kids. Listen in as we go deep down the rabbit hole!
Me and Nate are living "The Hero's Journey" right now with Prodigy Kid, and we are documenting the whole thing! This past week Nate and I attended Clickfunnel's, "Funnel Hacking Live", 4 day event.
It was very cool to expose Nate to all of those HIGH LEVEL entrepreneurs and watch him as his belief and vision GREW for what we are doing with Prodigy Kid.
The biggest PROUD PARENT moment came at a dinner we had with my coach (who happened to be one of the speakers) and some of his coaching clients. There was a "2Comma Club X" guy there ( +$10 million done through his old business using the CF software), and an "Inner Circle Rockstar" there (+$50000 to be part of). All 18 of us went around the table and gave our top lesson learned from the event and Nate's answer made me tear up a little. He said.....
(His answer is in this episode!!! LOL)
2 principles out of The Prodigy Kid book are "Begin with the end in mind", and Everything has it's time. Before you can know the when your goals will be accomplished, you MUST know what they are! Imagine going on vacation without knowing where you were going? How could you even begin to judge when you were going to get there?? Just like growing vegetables that require certain process, "growing your goals" also have a process. Just as it takes 3 months to grow corn, goals have a time attached to them as well.
