I am lamenting the problem that many creators tend to run into, which is the never-ending quest for tone and quality. This applies to most, as satisfaction with their work, and do they struggle with consistently being happy. Why does work seems great in the moment, yet when you come back and revisit, it is terrible?  I speak today about how I try to provide better customer service for my people, despite never being happy with my audio and sound. Do you struggle with this same problem, and do you border on Imposter Syndrome despite being overly qualified?

On the last podcast episode, I lamented about the fact that I hated running, because I keep getting passed by the mom, in yoga pants, pushing a stroller, talking on a phone, drinking a Starbucks latte, while walking a three-legged dog. She passes by me effortlessly, and I am huffing and puffing trying to keep up. It turns out that in that last race, I was getting sick, and the next day had a fever.  This kicked off a viral infection which went through the house, from November until February and beat the stuffing out of us. What I thought was just me being terrible at running, was actually the day before getting sick. For my mistaken assumption, I must apologize to the three-legged dog.

Today I ran a 5K race, and was totally disappointed in myself. Recently I completed a Tough Mudder, with 20 obstacles and 10 miles hiking through mud and mountains here in Las Vegas.  As I continue to train for next year's event, I am running in 5K and 10K races throughout this upcoming year to stay conditioned.  Without fail, every time I run a 5K, I hit a personal wall where I can break out and finish strong.  I wonder why seemingly out-of-shape fat people and unlikely running pass me by like I'm standing still.  Either I am too doughy to do these races, or I am seriously overlooking something in the mix.  Help me solve my fitness and running woes, and try to get in shape for 2019.
