Another team that lost alot of games by 7 points or less. They still have Kirk Cousins to lead the team but Minnesota doesn't have a that "core defensive leader" unless you count veteran linebacker Eric Kendricks. With that said, the number one the Minnesota Vikings must focus on the next 3 months is replenishing their defense. Ask the Super Bowl Champions Buccaneers, what wins championships. Defenses or offenses? Stay tuned....

February 22, 2021 2020 SEASON REVIEW SHOWS 7-9 L.A. CHARGERS
In life hindsight is always 20/20 & the biggest mistake former Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn made in 2020 was not giving the reins of the offense to rookie quarterback Justin Herbert. That other L.A. NFL team finished 7-9 last year, 4 wins away from a postseason berth. The future for the Bolts is now, as this off season they don't have to answer the question at the "franchise quarterback position." Even in 2021 most NFL clubs are asking the same question today, they asked this time last year. Who's the franchise Q.B. to lead us to the postseason or the next 15 years? Hindsight being 20/20, Justin Herbert starts week 1 of September 2020 & maybe, just maybe the Bolts edge their way into the 2021 tournament and Anthony Lynn is still employed.

February 22, 2021 2020 SEASON REVIEW SHOWS 6-10 S.F. 49ERS
In the 2020 NFL season the San Francisco defeated Seattle once, Los Angeles twice and the Arizona Cardinals swept the 49ers. An NFC West divisional record of 3-3, with 7 more losses coming from the NFL field for San Francisco 2020 was a year they'd love to quickly forget. From dealing with the Corona virus outbreaks, to getting kicked out if their home stadium as well as their home state of California, the 49ers still battled to the bitter end in all of their 16 games played last season. Head coach Kyle Shanahan made 0 excuses as to why the 49ers season went and ultimately ended the way it did after a Super Bowl appearance in Feb. 2020. It's safe to say the 49ers will be back to playoff form bu December of 2021. Stay tuned....

February 19, 2021 2020 SEASON REVIEW SHOWS 6-10 N.Y. GIANTS
The 2020 New York Giants went 6-10, but were in all the the games they played in, with the exception of maybe 3 or 4 and that's saying alot compared to the teams behind them woth 6-10 records, 5-11 records or worse. The thought is the Washington Football Team will be better in 2021, but if attention was paid to the 2020 New York Giants then it's very, very, clear that the Giants need just 2 or 3 added pieces and they'll be the 2021 NFC East division champions.

February 18, 2021 2020 SEASON REVIEW SHOWS 6-10 DALLAS COWBOYS
A season in which the Cowboys finished 6-10? 5 of their total 10 losses were by 7points of less. Most games where shootouts even after losing Dak Prescott for the year in week 5. The salary cap is an issue for all 32 clubs but Dallas number 1 issue? Andy Dalton and Dak Prescott are unrestricted free agents. The Cowboys also have key secondary players listed as unrestricted free agents as well. The Cowboys can franchise tender Prescott again for 2021 and be done with him in 2022. But what do the 'Boys do for the rest of their roster flaws? They're in trouble for real.

February 18, 2021 OFFSEASON TEAM OBSERVATIONS
Q.b. C. Wentz is a Colt, D.E. J.J. Watt could be a Brown or a Packer & no one knows where more than a 3rd of the current starting NFL quarterbacks will be by this time in April. The quarterback carousel is going bananas right now and there's still alot more to get done in the offseason before the preseason rolls around late in the summer (August 2021) with that said, March, April, and the early stages of the month of May is when you win your Super Bowl. February 18, 2021 TRADE ALERTS NFL Q.B. 👀 MOVEMENT {EAGLES C. WENTZ TO COLTS}
For a 2021 3rd round pick and a 2022 "conditional 2nd round pick", the Indianapolis Colts received disgruntled and former franchise quarterback Carson Wentz in a trade that took place right before 12 noon eastern standard time today! Carson Wentz rejoins Frank Reich in hopes of making offensive magic for the Colts like these two did in 2016 Wentz's rookie year and in 2017 the Eagles Super Bowl LII championship season as well. Wentz had 33 td passes thrown and only 7 INTS before being sidelined with a horrible knee injury after 13 games. Can Colts head coach Frank Reich get Wentz to return to his 2017 form? We'll see, the trade isn't finalized OFFICIALLY until Wednesday March 17th, 2021 12 midnight.

February 17, 2021 2020 SEASON REVIEW SHOWS 5-11 DETROIT LIONS
The 2020 Detroit Lions was a bad football team it's as simple as that. 5-11 like two other franchises. The biggest problem the Lions had in 2020? Points allowed per game. The Lions defense allowed the most points per game as well as the season. Over 500 points scored on the Lions defense. The 2nd worst NFL team in that category? 1-15 Jaguars allowing 492. There's your future trivia question. New head coach, new general manager and a new franchise quarterback (so they hope). Stay tuned....

All 32 NFL teams just continue to fill up the news cycles on all media channels whether they're sports networks or not. Staying in the news is onthing the NFL has successfully done the past 10 years. Even when the NFL is in the offseason the league stays relevant. In the offseason team observation shows I do just that, give my redefined, clear, insight of all 32 NFL clubs.

February 17, 2021 2020 SEASON REVIEW SHOWS 5-11 Carolina Panthers
9 games for the Carolina Panthers, NINE in which they lose by 7 points or less during their 17 week, 16 game NFL schedule in 2020. 5-11 win loss record and only 9 games were close losses. If the ball tips the Panthers way in those 9 close losses we're talking about a 14-2 NFC South Champion at the end of 2020. The NFL "is" a game of inches. Teddy Bridgewater threw for almost 4,000 yards and reportedly the Panthers wanted to trade for then Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford. Stafford now a Los Angeles Ram had the final say so in where he would go. Question is was this an attempt to get Bridgewater to play better or was the Panthers ready to move on from him? 03/17/2021 is going to be astronomically revealing. Stay tuned.....
