The Patriots defense has woken up, literally and started to remember who and what that symbol on the side of their helmets represents. The Chargers are in for a treat as their flashy, stats getting rookie quarterback Justin Herbert has been more than what they expected, but the rest of the team hasn't risen to his level of play or leadership. Cam Newton is looking forward to this game I'm certain and the AFC East division is about to have a five week stretch of unbelievable games, within and outside of their division. Aaron Rodgers is 1 of the best quarterbacks of all time and he's had a great season thus far. But on Sunday afternoon a very resilient and Philly tough Eagles team is coming to Green Bay to play. The Eagles lost to the Seahawks on MNF was degrading for their fan base amd players. The Packers won in primetime last Sunday night and they're prepared to prove that that defensive showing wasn't a fluke as defense has been the Packers issue for some time now. Throw the season win loss records out the window and then decide who you think will be victorious.

The Seahawks are back on top of the NFC West division once again after defeating the Eagles on MNF, joining with the Cardinals and Rams losing on Sunday. The Giants may be 4-7 but their defense is no push over and they'll be ready to take on Russell Wilson and the Seahawks rush attack. Daniel Jones will miss a few weeks but if the Giants can upset a team record wise better than they are, then confidence can build and now you talking about running the 5 week table and finishing how their rivals did in 2019 (9-7 Eaglea). Hosting a postseason game the first weekend of the New Year.

Jared Goff had a very difficult time against the San Francisco 49ers in week 12 which resulted in a loss at home. The 49ers swept the Rams for the 2020 season. No guarantee these teams will meet again until 2021. The Arizona Cardinals are home this week at 6-5 losing their last 2 games. At 7-4 the Rams have a win or forget the postseason attitude going into to this game, but the Arizona Cardinals do as well. All record books are thrown out of the window in divisional rivalry games.

Adam Thielen is still out for now at wide receiver for the Vikings at the time of this recorded show. The Vikings won't need Adam against this young but very, very, pesky Jaguars team. Only the 7th meeting between these teams all time. In 6 games the Vikings lead the Jaguars 5-1. The Jaguars fired their g.m. a few days ago and we'll how that helps the Jags in the future.

The Indianapolis Colts defense is still 1 of the best defenses in the league. With that said, Deshaun Watson and the Texans aren't going to have a field day when they host their rival this Sunday. Assuming the Colts win against the Texans the Colts will still be in postseason conversations and Houston will be all but totally eliminated from the postseason.

Something's telling me I should've chosen a different team to win this 182nd game between the Lions & Bears but ofcourse I didn't listen. Will it be Mitchell or Nick at quarterback this Sunday against the Lions? And Matthew Stafford may be in the Honolulu blue and ford silver for the last time these last 5 contests of 2020. Detroit Lions head coach Matt Patricia and g.m. Quinn was FIRED on black Friday last week. With that said, great rivalry but better when both teams are in contention for the tournament in January and this year that playoff dream is just that for Chicago and Detroit. Dreams.

The Cleveland Browns are in a prime position here this Sunday as they take on the Tennessee Titans. Both teams are 8-3 and if the Browns defeat the Titans they'll be a total of 5 to 6 games from 1st place in the AFC North. (PIT. 11-0) Ig the Steelers lose to Baltimore tomorrow afternoon then that 5 to 6 number will drop drastically. Ryan Tannehill is showing everyone why he was 1st round draft pick by the Dolphins 8 years ago and the Titans are in command of the AFC South with a sledgehammer in running back Derrick Henry (6"2-247lbs)

No Drew Brees at quarterback for the New Orleans Saints huh? No problem for them as the Falcons will host the Saints this Sunday for the 2nd time this season, it'll be the 104th contest overall. Matt Ryan is honestly playing for his Falcon career to continue beyond this 2020 NFL season. The Falcons would be wise to hold onto him for the next 2 to 3 years for stability purposes. The Saints do what they do Drew Brees or not and that's WIN. 2019 it was Panthers starter Teddy Bridgewater who filled in for an injured Brees, this year it appears the Saints furture franchise quarterback Taysom Hill will be in New Orleans for years to come, especially after this Sunday rivalry game in Atlanta.

No Joe Burrow at quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals......huge problem as the Bengals run south to face the Miami Dolphins this Sunday. Whether the Dolphins have Tua or Ryan at quarterback for them it doesn't really that much as the phins' defense is ranked 2nd in the NFL defensive points allowed category. The Bengals having Joe Burrow would've been a better game but as is most things, injuries are out of our control.
