Joe Flacco spent a year in Denver after 12 years in Baltimore. Now he's a New York Jet. Same situation in New York for Flacco though. Flacco found himself behind Lamar Jackson (2018), then behind Drew Lock in Denver last year. Jackson was the future but Flacco's injury opened the door for Jackson, Flacco's injury in Den. opened the door for Lock as well. Sam Darnold was a rookie when Flacco was last a Raven. Sam Darnold will learn what he can from Flacco and hope to not play his way to the bench and replaced by Flacco. Tom Brady is gone, & up until June 28th of this year, it was Jarett Stidhams' show to either capitalize on or lose. Stidham in his 2nd year will have to wait another to be become the franchise leader at Q.B. in New England. Cam Newton has arrived with his "superman aura" to lead New England back to the playoffs and hopefully for him and H.C. Bill Belichick a Super Bowl Championship. If Newton can't grasp Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels playbook quickly Stidham will take the reigns till Newton is ready. If Newton under performs, he'll get bounced quickly. Brian Hoyer returns to New England for a 3rd time. The team who originally drafted him. 2020 undrafted rookie free agent Brian Lewerke a Michigan State alumn like Hoyer will battle Hoyer for the 3rd string spot, possibly even the #2 role. Dwayne Haskins Jr. is in his 2nd year as an NFL quarterback. He has a new head coach as well as a new offense to learn. The team is also dealing with outside drama and issues as they have to change their MASCOT name A.S.A.P.!!!!!!! Alex Smith is a savvy 16 year veteran but missed the entire 2019 season with what appeared to be a career ending broken leg in 2018. If Alex Smith is 100%, and Haskins Jr. doesn't perform at a high level. Haskins Jr. could be traded away this year. If Smith isn't ready I believe Kyle Allen will beat out Haskins Jr. for the head job. Allen was with new H.C. Ron Rivera in Carolina last year. Allen knows the offensive book. The depth chart could go in any order this year. Odd man out is 2020 undrafted rookie quarterback Steven Montez from Colorado University......stay tuned!!!!!

Daniel Jones is now the main franchise Q.B. & leader of the New York Giants. Eli Manning is retired, and now it's up to Jones to lead by example both on and off the field. Some are saying Jones is in the "HOT SEAT" in year 2 but I'd respectfully disagree. It's his 2nd year with a 1st year NFL Head Coach in former New ENGLAND Special Teams Coordinator Joe Judge. Colt McCoy, a 10 year veteran and former Washington player, will back Jones up. McCoy (33) will battle former Dallas Cowboys backup Cooper Rush and N.Y.G. practice squad mainstay Alex Tanney (32 yrs old). to be the #2. Tanney has been in the League a full 4 seasons but age wise is already looking towards the end of his playing days. If it wasn't for Daniel Jones the Giants Q.B. situation would look a lot like Clevelands, Cincinnatis, Jacksonvilles and Washingtons Q.B. rooms right now. The Eagles are where they want to be as a franchise right now. Carson Wentz is their franchise Q.B. with a average backup in Nate Sudfeld & a bright future in 6-1 223lbs rookie Jalen Hurts. This story has been filmed, produced, read & seen before. If Carson Wentz suffers any major injuries in the 2020 NFL season like he did in late 2017 (Super Bowl run & win) & in 2018 (back) and again last year further postseason. (Concussion in Wildcard game January 2020) then Jalen Hurts will be the man & he'll be willing, ready & well able to take the helm from Wentz. Kyle Lauletta in the 4th guy and will fight tooth and nail Philly style with Hurts to be the 3red stringer. Dak Prescott is on the road of Kirk Cousins. He's going to play on a 1-year franchise tender deal in 2020. If he pulls off a year like he did in 2019 stats wise without injury. He'll possibly receive a Kirk Cousins type of contract from The Cowboys or another NFL Team looking for a quarterback with the talent of Prescott. If Dallas wins the Super Bowl like Joe Flacco did on his bet on myself season (2015) then Dak will have earned more money than Flocco commanded at that time. Backing up Prescott is Andy Dalton and the 3rd stringer is former Philadelphia Eagles 2020 draft pick Clayton Thorson. Joe Burrow is touted as the franchise Q.B. for the Cincinnati Bengals. He's yet to complete a pass as an NFL Q.B. Going off his final 2 years (8-9 months] in college for The LSU [bayou bengals] Tigers he's ready. Will his growth at the collegiate level translate to the NFL level though? Already drafted into a very tough, division in the AFC North, with some hardcore defenses in Baltimore & Pittsburgh & an improving defense in Cleveland. The Bengals improved on defense themselves. Brandon Allen (2019 3rd stringer in Denver) has been signed in the last few days to take over in case of an unfortunate injury to Joe Burrow. Before Allen was brought in, Jake Dolegala (6-7) & Ryan Finley were the backups. In 2019 Dolegala & Finley combined for 3 games 2 td's, 2 int's, 11 sacks, 4 fumbles, 3 lost. Baker Mayfield's passion has to translate to the field this season. Hopefully they'll be a 17 week 16 game season for Mayfield to perform in. New Browns head coach Kevin Stafanski is rumored to be a quarterback whisperer, backup Case Keenum knows this all too well as they both worked together in Minnesota during The Vikings magical 2017 run. Garrett Gilbert will battle 2020 undrafted rookie Kevin Davidson for the 3rd string job. If Mayfield's accuracy doesn't improve his carbon copy in Keenum will take over. Baltimore Ravens quarterback room is maybe the 3rd best quarterback room in all of the NFL. With Lamar Jackson 2019 League MVP, R.G. III the immediate backup to Lamar Jackson. R.G. III was Washington's franchise Q.B. and last years Draft pick Trace McSorley is the 3rd stringer. Mr. Huntly is an intriguing wildcard as a 3rd stringer for Baltimore. A 2020 undrafted rookie free agent but he'll be on the practice squad most likely for Baltimore. Then again with this Covid-19 world we're in he may be the starting quarterback in Baltimore at some point this year.
