Sure, Sikorski's back when there's juicy gossip about Wemby and Britney getting the smack down from his security in Las Vegas. Even The Jew coulda handled this episode.

Well Prospect fans, we're still looking for show host Don Sikorski, but until we can recover him from the Columbian Cartel, you will just have to settle for another edition of the Jew and the Greek.

With Don Sikorski once again MIA (he could be on assignment, or most likely kidnapped for ransom by an evil foreign actor, The Jew has to step in and helm the show. Fortunately The Greek was available to provide ACTUAL sports commentary, while the Jew provides comic relief and lobs out softball questions.

The day has come and gone and we now know that Victor Wembenyama will most likely be drafted by the San Antonio Spurs, and then the journey starts.
What I have been thinking a lot as of late, is the media’s role in myth building, in creating a narrative to feed the 24 Hour Sports News cycle with soundbyte after soundbyte, and different nuanced takes on the same topic, so Stephen A Smith can talk about Lebron James four hundred times throughout the course of one week of shows.
There is no one better at myth building than ESPN personality Brian Windhurst.
A former beat writer for the Cleveland Caviliers, it appeared for many years that Brian Windhurst was the Lebron whisperer, breaking stories out of Cleveland, as Lebron James became a mega superstar. Windhurst a very talented journalist and savvy operator for lack of a better term rode the coattails of Lebron into an NBA Insider and media superstar, where his knowledge and expertise is pursued across the league, and defintely on ESPN.
This past week in following the Wemby news, I wasn’t surprised to see a very long think piece written by Windhurst on Wemby, the byline was from Paris France, where Windhurst had traveled to for 24 hours to get a byte from Wemby after the draft lottery.

Under the premise of The Propsect, while there are many stories of epic success, and dedication that required super human work ethic, focus, luck and foresight, there are also stories of different paths, that NBA superstar prospects took to the NCAA and the NBA, some of these stories stand out to me, because growing up they were some of my favorite players, this week I wanted to look at the story of Chris Herren, from Fall River Massachusetts.
Herren is a former professional basketball player who once played for the NBA's Denver Nuggets and Boston Celtics. Despite a successful basketball career, Herren's life became derailed by drugs and alcohol abuse and he eventually lost everything, including his family and his career.
