Junior Isabelle Yakel discusses how COVID19 has impacted her as a student, her family, and her life as well as how staying positive and becoming comfortable her in own skin has led her to a greater sense of happiness and well-being.

Claire Williamson is a first year teacher who works with our student council and teaches Social Studies at Apache Junction High School here in Arizona.    Claire is a rock-star and the recent winner of the WKNIX Teacher of the Month.   Claire shares her strategies for staying positive and upbeat, for continued personal growth, and how she overcame having to leave college at the end of her sophomore year due to loan money running out, only to graduate from ASU and become a teacher!   Enjoy, and please be well and care for yourselves and each other.
