Perhaps due to the proximity to Christmas we tend to think of the end of the calendar year as a time to tie up the last 12 months with a pretty little red bow. We throw it up, on an Instagram reel, and spend however long that takes reflecting on what we did and didn’t accomplish in the year. Then we move the unchecked items to the year ahead and after scrolling through everyone else’s end of year reels perhaps we add a few more checkboxes to our already unrealistic list of resolutions. It’s no wonder New Year’s can make people feel as bad as Christmas. Between the whole midnight kiss expectation and hoping to become a different person overnight there’s a lot of room for disappointment.
January needs a reframe. Let's give ourselves a month of rest and reflection to help us tap into the frequency of prosperity and live our lives out of compassion and self love instead. I guarantee this will benefit you more than a list of things to accomplish!
