She talks to senior Ella Stadelmeyer about the recent band concert, while junior Ethan Gibbas shares details of how the drama department is already working on the spring musical, “Pippin.”

This is “Real Talk.” Staff Writers Adeline Harper and Ashton Lewandowski sit down and discuss the serious topic of when Christmas, and by extension other holidays, should be celebrated. Harper takes a more liberal approach to the discussion whereas Lewandowski argues for a stricter timeframe of celebrating holidays.

Editor-in-Chief Abby Carter leads a team of Prowler journalists as they bring you the second episode of “From the Panther Pit” for the 2021-2022 school year. The journalists recap the end of the fall sports and beginning of the winter sports seasons. They discuss the end of the softball, football, and cheer seasons, and highlight recent girls and boys swimming and girls and boys varsity basketball results.

Starr’s Mill chorus and orchestra will perform together in this year’s Candlelight Processional. The concert will be two parts. The chorus will open the evening, and then the chorus and orchestra will end the evening by performing five pieces together.

This week on “Around the Mill,” Staff Writer Charlie Goins speaks to dance team member Katherine Sills about the Pantherette halftime performance at the 9th grade boys basketball game on Tuesday. Also, Sophie Biel talks about her excitement for “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Shows will be performed at 7 p.m. on December 2, 3, and 4 in Duke Auditorium.

This is “Real Talk.” Staff Writers Ashton Lewandowski and Drew McCarthy sit down and discuss the serious topic of how to solve gun violence in America. McCarthy presents the more lax version of trying to solve gun crime through fewer laws whereas Lewandowski argues for additional laws to be enforced.
