Physical therapy and pain go together like two peas in a pod. A lot of our patients are in pain thus us working with patients either on pain killers or working on accessing them. Today we discuss our thoughts on the opioid crisis and how we see the trend going. Today is a lot of our opinions and thoughts with some experience with patients, so keep that in mind.

A lot of times we discuss the "ceiling" of being a PTA. It's not that we can't do more, but that if we do, it involves a bridge program or an advanced proficiency pathway. Imposter syndrome goes by a variety of different names but it all leads to the same thing. Do we feel worthy of our accomplishments and is there something we can do in order to feel like we belong? We've battled through on and off throughout our careers and it happens more often than we think.
