Two months ago, I handed Kenji over to a robot.
Not quite — but close. Our force-free fur-end Sarah Rutten from The Canine Perspective is back on the PUGCAST, and this time she’s built something rather clever: an AI training app with twenty-plus years of her own experience, her book and her courses sitting in the back end. Not ChatGPT. Not the internet’s greatest hits. Just Sarah, in your pocket.
So I gave it a go. Kenji was resource guarding at meal times, having a go at poor Buster over a bowl that wasn’t even on the floor yet, and had suddenly decided big dogs were the enemy. Two months on, we have a calm dinner routine, a bowl with a penthouse view, a foster brother who eats in the pantry in peace, and a pug who now rolls over and asks his dad for a belly rub.
We talk about what the app actually does, what it costs, the day when it threw out the plan and built a new one because Kenji has a dental procedure, and the car win I completely fluked.
Plus, an exclusive — Sarah reveals the title of her second book, and you Puggies are the very first to hear it. 🐾
Full disclosure, Puggies: I paid for this app myself because I believe in supporting small businesses like mine.
