The Pulsebaq Society

In this episode I talk about three of my codes that have defined my nursing career.

Next medication in the mini series…sodium bicarbonate. Is it the ultimate resuscitation bandaid or is it just splashing water at a bonfire?

In this episode I am breaking it down and getting real. I talk about some of the experiences that define who I am as a nurse, and where this podcast is going.

This episode we talk about how healthcare has done innovation by reiterating the same thing over and over, and how we have gotten stuck in this cycle. I challenge the nurses of the Pulsebaq Society to be creative and spur the wheels of innovation from the bedside because that is where we will find the most meaningful impact on our nursing industry and for the patients.

This is the first in a mini series where we dive deep into the world of the medications we use to save life’s. Today’s episode is all about Epinephrine our most common and well known drug for resuscitation. Do you know what the epinephrine is doing to help get ROSC?

Why is experience the driver that makes us better, and how do we overcome the lack of experience for our patients?
