Woot and Wye are joined by Laurie Horesh of Fox Sport Australia’s NFL Hard Count series, after they recap all the latest in the NFL News (seriously JPP?), to discuss the results of the first ever Woot and Wye MFL10. Part Two of The Woot and Wye Show’s “Aussies in the NFL” series features a name that Aussie NFL fans should become familiar with: Adam Gotsis. The Georgia Tech DL is rising up 2016 NFL Draft boards as he enters his final year with the Yellow Jackets. Gotsis talks about how he fell in love with the game, his journey to Georgia Tech via The IFAF World Cup and his all star performance in the Orange Bowl in 2014.

Then, Alex Hampton, a strength and conditioning associate with the Jacksonville Jaguars joined us and gave us a rare insight into what happens behind the scenes of an NFL organization during the off-season. Alex described his time in FSU and the use of Catapult tracking technology in the NFL.

The first part in Woot and Wye’s two part “Aussies in the NFL” series is based around what us Aussies do best: Punting.

They talk with Pittsburgh Steelers Punter Jordan Berry about his college career at EKU including some of his freak trick plays (including this) and his draft experience. Then the focus shifts to his time at the recent Steelers Mini Camps and what it is like competing against a fellow Australian for a roster spot.

They then talk with Nathan Chapman of Pro Kick Australia. Chapman set up Pro Kick Australia to help develop an easier pathway for Australian Punters to land themselves not only a spot on NCAA rosters but a quality education. Chapman talks about the array of punters playing for teams in 2015 and hints at a possible Syd [...]

Before starting their two part “Aussies in the NFL” Special. The boys recap all the latest news around the NFL including the curious cases of contract disputes involving Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas. They also talk some Carson Palmer, Odell Beckham Jr, Wes Welker and Adrian Peterson before being joined by Matthew Bungard for an Entourage edition of “Whats Your Flavour”

Woot and Wye run through the latest news from around the NFL including the retirement of Anthony Davis, the return of AP and what did Johnny Football do now? They are then joined by NFL Network’s Colleen Wolfe, follow her on Twitter at @ColleenWolfeNFL, (25 minute mark) to talk about the recent batch of OTA’s, her job with NFL NOW and her NFL All Pro Name Team.

Colleen’s knowledge of Australia is put to the test as the boys ask her about some sayings, Vegemite, Tim Tams and Drop Bears.

A jam packed episode 56 sees Wye joined by Rick Drummond of Pro Football Focus to discuss their top 101 and the evolution of stats from Pro Football Focus. He is then joined by Etihad Stadium CEO Paul Sergeant to talk all about the College Football Bowl Game Down Under in 2016. Paul fills us in what he has planned for the game day experience and all the behind the scenes work conducted by Etihad Stadium in setting this up.
