  • All Saints
On today's episode of The Purpose, Bill and Kipp discuss Hebrews 12 and reflect on All Saint's Day. This is a special day for the church because it is a time when we give thanks and remember all those who have gone before us, whose faith is the reason that we have come to know God ourselves. When we go through the good and bad seasons of life, All Saints Day reminds us that there is a great cloud of witnesses who has gone before us that is cheering us on to continue running the race that God has set before us. Who from your life, that has gone before you and run their race, can you give thanks for their witness? And who in your life that is currently running their race is God calling you to be a source of strength for their faith?

  • Run with the End in Sight
In today's episode, Bill an Kipp discuss 2 Timothy chapter 4. Today's passage has a lot to do with staying faithful to the truth of scripture and the gospel, in the face of a changing world and culture that is bent on adapting those truths. When we pick and choose wisdom that God has given to us, we lose life-changing blessings that God can do in our lives. This is important for Christians to do with grace and patience, knowing full well that not all of our peers will want to be faithful to scripture, because the kingdom of God needs faithful disciples in order to grow.

  • The Vineyard

On today's episode of The Purpose, Bill and Kipp discuss the parable of the vineyard found in Matthew 21:33-46. This story has a lot to do with how faithful we are and have been to Christ's commands. What have we actually done with the good news of the gospel? How has the grace given to us produced fruit in our lives? We are all called to reflect on these questions because God has given each and every one of us a purpose to play in his kingdom.
