Emotional Eating is big in all of our communities. We as humans eat when we are happy, sad, depressed, and for sure when we are celebrating. In the African American community "comfort food" was established. 

Bad habits create unprecedent behavioral patterns. Vicious behavioral cycles creates cognitive dissonance.

Cognitive Dissonance: the state of having inconsistent thoughts, beliefs or attitudes, especially as relating to behavioral decisions and attitude change.

The book "Atomic Habits" states, "If you can get 1 percent better each day for one year, you'll end up thirty-seven times better by the time you're done. Conversely, if you get 1 percent worse each day for one year, you'll decline nearly down to zero. 

Luke 21:19

KJV- In your patience possess ye your souls.

AMP - By your [patient] endurance [empowered by the Holy Spirit] you will gain your souls.

In the Christian world we have swept a lot under the rug that has caused a pseudo way of living. God said if we are lukewarm, he will spew us out (Revelations 3:26). We have made an uncorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man. (Romans 1:23). God does no evil and he never intended for man to either.

It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones.

Rest: cease work or movement in order to relax, refresh oneself, or recover strength.

The root word (RE) means “again” or “back”

Re also indicates repetition 

Rest is important to life and a healthy lifestyle to take back your power. We’ve been programmed to NOT rest. We say things like, “I’ll sleep or rest when I’m dead.” It shouldn’t be that way at all, God rested on the 7th day and we should have a day of rest. Honestly, we should rest more often. In the life of a believer, we can’t fight a spiritual battle without rest. Soldiers can’t go to battle without rest, they will lose sight of an important detail that could cause detrimental consequences.

It’s recommended that adults get at least 7 or more hours of rest per night.

Hebrews 4:1-16 speaks on Gods rest. In order to believe what God is saying, you must have faith in his word, in him! The unbeliever will not inherit Gods promise of full rest because they believe not therefore hardening their hearts.

Get your rest! Turn the tv off, put your phone down from scrolling social media and rest. Allow God time to speak to you, he will truly direct your path in life. We don’t have to be slaves to anything or anyone to make a $1.

God gives us the power to get wealth - Deuteronomy 8:18

God didn’t send Jesus to start a religion but to restore the relationship he intended to have with man before sin.

Romans 16:17-18

17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Revelation 3:15-16

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

How Do you behave towards God? Are you the type of Christian that says, God knows your heart? How would you feel if in your relationship, your partner never took you out, never emotionally opened up, never loved you the way you expressed? Would you accept the excuse “baby you know my heart? What about your friendships and relationships with family. Would that suffice to keep a good relationship growing?

The key to maintaining your weight loss is mind over matter if you will. Your desire for the end product has to be greater than what you see. You have to break your old habits in order to presently create new habits to birth your future self.

Galations 5:17 (NLV)

17 The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.

How have you trained up your child(ren)?

First, let me give you some background history on goats. Goats are destructive, and will destroy any and everything in their pathway. Goats do not do well with others. Christ called us to be one body. Like sheep, they stick together.

Shepherds protect the flock from outside hurt & harm. Whereas, Goatherds protect everything around on the outside from the goat.

Are you familiar with the saying, I’m The Goat? Do you know where it derived from? Do you know why those you look up to, listen too and worship through music utilize this saying? Do we ever stop to ask why?

Why has the entertainment industry adopted the Baphomet sign? Why does famous basketball players, football players, Queen/King of Hip Hop etc proclaim to be goats? As they say, The Greatest of All Time. Why did Obama pose for News Weekly proclaiming to be the goat? God of All Time?

I’m glad you asked! Satan is linked with goats in scripture. One in particular,

Matthew 25:31-46.

The Satanic statue or idol has a goat’s head.

The idol contains a pentagram on its forehead and is part-animal, part-human as well as part-female, part-male, a conglomeration of opposites. All goes in the world of sin.

Modern Baphomet symbolizes sexual and phallic (an erect penis) & includes symbols with white & dark moons. Worship of the universe and not worshiping the One who created the universe.

This symbolism aligns with paganism and one of the main figures of worship in the occult. In which “the” secret clandestine society uses quite often.

Everything we know today has a spiritual connotation.

Based on scripture reference in Matthew 25:31-46. Are you sheep or a goat? In Gods word, God says, my sheep hear my voice. The God of all Gods never references goats of anything royal or importance to him. Why do you denounce the position God has given to you to such filth? Such evil? What you are inherently saying when you reference yourself as a goat, you are proclaiming to be the devils child. Are you a child of Baal? Or do you want to learn how to be a child of God?
