Cancer treatment advocates are asking lawmakers to support legislation (House Bill 4339/Senate Bill 809) that would ensure insurance coverage of comprehensive biomarker testing. This legislation has passed in 23 other states so far and Massachusetts appears to be falling behind on this... The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) volunteers, including survivors and patients from across Massachusetts, gathered on Beacon Hill to meet with lawmakers as part of its annual Cancer Action Day to urge them to support proposals that address the needs of cancer patients and reduce health disparities.
