The postseason awards continue to fly in for the Ole Miss women’s golf team following its first national title in program history.Head coach Kory Henkes was named the 2020-21 Division I Jackie Steinmann Women’s Golf Coaches Association National Coach of the Year. Henkes becomes the first Rebel head coach to earn the award from the WGCA. It also marks just the seventh time the award has gone to an SEC head coach since the honor was first handed out in 1984. It took Ryan Hybl little time to return the Oklahoma men's golf program to national prominence.
Named OU head coach on June 22, 2009, Hybl took over a program that finished 10th in the 2009 Big 12 Championship and inside the top nine just once that spring, and has guided it to the four best single-season scoring averages in school history and to the NCAA Championships each of the last eight years. In fact, OU is one of just three teams to reach the national tournament in each of the past eight years, joining Illinois and Texas.

Welcome one of lead analysts for the PXG College Golf Showcase, Arron Oberholser. We take Arron back to his college days where he attended San Jose State University. In 1996, as a junior, he won six college golf titles during the regular season, matching Tiger Woods, a sophomore at Stanford University. In the 1996 postseason, competing for college Player of the Year, Woods won the regionals and the NCAA Championship, while Oberholser finished second in every statistical category.
