Another week, another time where Bo Nix is a top quarterback. Bet if you could tell this to your 2021 self, they'd be shocked. UNC's Drake Maye continues to climb the Heisman rankings, and he continues to climb our DFS rankings as well. Texas Tech freshman Behren Morton could be a sneaky great play this week.

At running back, Izzy Abanikanda can't be stopped, as he's just a touchdown machine. TCU's Kendre Miller continues to fly under the radar. Ohio St's TreVeyon Henderson could be in line for another big week. And what about taking a flier on Texas A&M's Devon Achane?

There are TONS of plays this week at wide receiver. The usual suspects, Marvin Harrison Jr, Josh Downs, and Quinton Johnston, are all top plays. Jalin Hyatt has been unbelievable this year, but this could be the game to pivot off of him and go with his cheaper teammate Cedric Tillman. For longshots, Brevyn Spann-Ford is dirt cheap and could be in line for a touchdown or two.

The Pypeline Award-Winning* Podcast is back and we give our reaction to the first CFP rankings of the year. Pypeline Mike joins me and we delve into the Top 25 and look at what was predictable, where are the surprises, and where are the eye rolls.

UCF and Tulane are the only G5 teams that made it, and they each could still make some noise, including against each other. The ACC has 4 teams in the bottom half. But there's also a chance that they'll beat up on each other, which would in turn hurt Clemson's chance at making the playoffs.

The SEC is (SURPRISE!) well represented, including a head scratching LSU at #10. TCU is the lowest ranked undefeated team left. Do they have enough potential solid wins on their schedule to squeak in? And would a winner of Tennessee/Georgia, winner of Ohio St/Michigan, undefeated TCU, and undefeated Clemson be the perfect CFP?

Some big time plays on the board this week. The Bo Nix meme has been laid to rest, as he really is a darkhorse Heisman candidate this year. And he's the top QB play this week. Georgia QB Stetson Bennett is truly flying under the radar and could be a sneaky contrarian play this week. Wanna get nuts? Come on, let's get nuts! How about Minnesota QB Tanner Morgan for only $5k? The 30(?) year old Golden Gopher could be the sneaky good play of the week.

At running back, TCU's Kendre Miller is quietly putting up monster numbers. And somehow the nation's leading rusher, Illinois RB Chase Brown, is also quietly putting up monster numbers. He's been very down this year, but this could be the TreVeyon Henderson breakout game. And Notre Dame's Logan Diggs is set to surprise people.

For the second week in a row, there aren't any top WR plays that Ryan loves. But Wake's AT Perry could be stacked with QB Sam Hartman. $6.6k is a LOT to pay for a tight end, but if there's one that's worth it, it would have to be Georgia's Brock Bowers. Speaking of tight ends, how about taking a flier on Louisville's Marshon Ford? Maybe even consider a stack with him and QB Malik Cunningham.

There was lots to discuss in the SEC. Why was Nick Saban incensed when the clock stuck 0:00 of a 30-6 game against Mississippi St? Texas A&M does something they've never done before, and in these hard economic times, Jimbo Fisher does the fiscally responsible thing by shopping at Walmart.

Over in the Big 12, don't let your favorite QB play against TCU. And no need to panic. That meteor that you see hurtling toward earth is only Kansas.

There's still plenty of good seats available for the Stanford/Arizona St game. Same for Miami, as they will give the first 8 fans in attendance a complimentary turnover.

At the RB position, lots of good value, starting with Will Shipley for Clemson. Take a look at Quinshon Judkins, as he's starting to move toward star status. And Tulane's Tyjae Spears could be a hidden gem.

Receivers will be where your money is made. Which one of the Buckeye receivers could go off? What about stacking Zay Flowers and Xavier Worthy with Phil Jurkovec and Quinn Ewers, respectively. And for longshots, how about Michael Mayer, seeing as it's so close to Halloween.

SMU rises to #2 in our rankings, as they ran all over the field against Navy. And why hasn't Oklahoma used the Sooner Schooner to pick up injured players? They could shave quite a few minutes off their trip to the hospital. 

Tennessee/Alabama lives up to the hype on the field and off it as well, as the Vols use every trick in the book to break their losing streak vs the Crimson Tide, including vomit. And the win drives Vols Nation to do some off the wall shenanigans.

But not to be outdone, the refs in the USC/Utah game figure out how to create time out of thin air. And not to be outdone by those refs, but the refs in the Air Force/UNLV game take to the stands to lecture the band. And of course, we can't go a show without mentioning the disaster that is Auburn under Bryan Harsin's leadership.

DraftKings threw us a curveball this week when they slid in the MAC game of Ohio (of Ohio) vs Western Michigan. Which means there's tons of value on Bobcats QB Kurtis Rourke, in what could could be a high scoring affair. Also, DraftKings has entered concussion protocol because they've apparently had a massive head injury as evidenced by them making Texas QB Quinn Ewers only $5,700!!

The running back position is STACKED this week with elite talent. Texas RB Bijan Robinson, Wisconsin RB Braelon Allen, Alabama RB (and my cousin) Jahmyr Gibbs, and Michigan RB Blake Corum. Arkansas RB Raheim Sanders' value skyrockets if QB KJ Jefferson comes back against BYU. And the rushing leader Chase Brown might have value, but faces a tough match up vs Minnesota.

The wide receiver play will make or break your team. A first of no top plays this week, as the most expensive players either have bad match-ups or have under-performed. Western Michigan wideout Corey Crooms could be a steal. And Texas TE Ja'Tavion Sanders could be a sneaky great stack with QB Quinn Ewers.

At the RB position, Bijan Robinson is always a great play. Will TreVeyon Henderson play? If so, he'll be solid for the Buckeyes. Washington RB Wayne Taulapapa is an under the radar play that could pay dividends.

There are lots of good receiver plays, but none that stand out as locks. Xavier Worthy could blow up in the Red River Shootout. And how far has Kayshon Boutte fallen? You can have him this week for only $4,800. With starting TE Brian Kuithe out of the year, Utah's Dalton Kincaid could be the sneaky play of the week.
