    Mo's Butter started out as her love language to her boyfriend at the time. He was having some problems with his skin and scalp, and she wanted to help. She was already making produc here and there for herself and she wanted to make something for him that was natural and that would keep him looking good. His barber kept asking him what he was using on his hair because it was always "juicy". From there it all snowballed into the Mo's Butter business! The Quad Podcast welcomes Pa'Reesha Seiber to the show for some discussions on natural beauty and how it can be a confidence booster.

    On this episode, Absolutely Adia and Tha Franchize get into a recap of their SXSW festivities with Anthony and Artesia from Tha Reality is Podcast, and the homie KD from SportsLifeTalk Podcast and... Adia roasts Franchize about his punctuality!

    SXSW is a great place where creatives descend on the city, and have opportunities to make great connection if they have a proper game plan. The crew discusses the importance of being prepared for the opportunity to expand your brand, while also being deliberate about making contacts that can lead to huge success. Also mentioned was the versatility of the event: Symposiums, music and film festival, tech, the whole nine.

    In the second segment, the crew discusses the Deep Ellum situation, and Tha Franchize has a message for black men...."WE MUST PROTECT OUR WOMEN!!!" and put the dam phone down if you see someone is being assaulted! Understood is the need to visually document the situation for prosecutorial purposes, but how many people does it take? Someone record, and the others step up!     The Quad welcomes Brandi to the stu! Brandi is a full time teacher and part time foodie with a goal of highlighting women and minority owned businesses. Her passion is connecting the community to the businesses they may have otherwise not known about, and connecting businesses and brands to each other. Her most recent venture is called the COCOA Initiative, and the purpose is to encourage group economics and show that Collectively Our Cash Opens Avenues.

    Brandi is a foodie at heart, so if you take her out to eat, please let her take pics of her food!!! It's her passion. And oh yeah, be prepared to model the food or be a prop in her pictures!!

    Born and raised outside of Washington, DC in a town called Takoma Park. Mark Joseph's parents emigrated to the DC area in the 70's from Trinidad & Tobago. Considers himself a Trinidadian who was born in America, he was raised in a very strict West Indian Catholic household and grew up to question and over analyze even the simplest things. He moved to Dallas, TX in the summer of 2011 during one of the hottest summers Texas had in years and loved every minute of it! He’s married to a genius seamstress @anayagracedesigns and has two wonderful kids, Aiden & Ava. This man is very passionate about coaching and helping others to be empowered to fight through life's championships and challenges. And he's not afraid to buss a whine (dance) no matter where, when, and with who! A man who is open to dialogue about almost anything. He loves to hear other's opinions, and loves to play devil's advocate just to help others extract what is truly at their core beliefs. Perfect guest for this episode of....THE QUAD!

He is a man of service, and he’s putting all his energy and efforts into his Texas Black Pages business directory. Texas Black Pages aims to be a one stop shop for all businesses black. Sit with us as we discuss Black Ownership, Texas Black Business Week, and The Progression of Texas Black Owners and being “Business Woke”.

    Our guest has a diverse publishing background and started Hawaii's first ever Tattoo Magazine called 808ink. Ronnie Russell also create the Army's first enterprise mobile app in South Korea called Penn Around and has a love for community service. Naturally, when he came to Texas, he started a platform that helped people, including himself, find his way around in a new state. He has grown Texas Black Pages from an 87-member Business Directory to over 5k businesses listed is less than 17 months.
