The Quarantine Sessions – Part 1: U.S. vs. Colombia

Listen Later

Lina and I sit down to talk about some of the differences between being quarantined (whether self-imposed or otherwise) in Colombia and the U.S. Colombia is under a government mandated stay-at-home order except for essential goods and services, but in some places it's "optional". We talk about some of the reasons and consequences of both.

Since there is so much misinformation, anxiety and fear out there about this coronavirus situation, we try our best to stay out of any flat declarations about what is or isn't true. But we'll talk you through the situation the way we see it, from high atop our mountain perch in their family's finca near Subachoque, outside Bogota.

This will be the first of several of these "quarantine sessions," since we have the time and technology available to talk to you.
