(M)anage - keep them safe and direct their behaviour in your absence
(E)ngage - out of their crate, engage with them in training or other activities that benefit
(E)nrich - tug and play or fun snuggles are very enriching things that can work in your favour
(T)each - teach them skills to help them learn WHAT we want
(I)nsist - mean what you say and find ways to gently insist (it’s not about force, it’s about consistency)
(N)ew Challenges - Once you’ve trained the skills in a quiet environment, add distractions and challenges incrementally
(G)eneralize - get out to different locations/expose to different situations to help them understand your expectations
